The American-built Aurora series has welded stainless steel construction for durability, but it also catches the eye with its clean appearance and “tear-drop” double-lined hood. Just like the more expensive Echelon series, this grill features an advanced “hot surface” ignition to make lighting a snap, a contoured control panel, and built-in digital thermometer with meat probes. Another nice feature Fire Magic includes is a spring-assisted lid for easy opening and closing of the lid.
Fire Magic also includes the same burners found on their more expensive grills. Their exclusive, “E-shaped” burner (optional infrared burners are available) is capable of reaching high temperatures but also does well when you turn them down and cook at lower temperatures. The E-shape burners also provide excellent heat distribution, because each burner has four rows of burner ports. With 12” of firebox room (top to bottom), Aurora can utilize convection cooking which is a more efficient way of cooking.
The warranty offered by Fire Magic is simply one of the best. Aurora grills are built to last, and they are backed up by a lifetime warranty on stainless steel components. If you buy a Fire Magic, most likely it will be one of the last grills you'll ever buy.
