BBQ Island 100% Oak Wood Pellets - 20 lbs

BBQ Island Oak pellets are made from a 100% oak wood. No binders or other additives are added. Some say that oak makes the most versatile pellets since they produce mild smoke with no aftertaste. Goes well with beef, pork, fish and big game.

We do not use anything other than pure natural wood fiber in all our pellets. We use no fillers or oils of any kind in our products.  Our manufacturer uses round logs harvested through the Master Logger program to ensure only over forest growth materials are used. All the trees are debarked/or with bark depending on the product and ground into a fine fiber at a predetermined size. The finished material is dried/tempered and compressed into a typical 40-44lb density wood pellet. This process produces a smoking wood product of consistent quality. Pellets are easy to use since you do not soak in water prior to use. It's easy to blend wood flavors with pellets and easily repeat successful cooking results.
