Turkey Fest 2012
Turkey Season is here & BBQ Island's 3rd annual Turkey Fest is right around the corner. Come one down Saturday November 10th for an all day informative and delicious turkey extravaganza. Try an assortment of Turkey recipes from amateur cook teams. Smoked, fried, grilled, rotisserie'd, try them all. We'll also have award winning pimaster Bam Bam teaching his signature version of Smoked Turkey. This class is included in the cost of admission. Bring the family and come on out for a hands on learning experience. We promise to help you take your Holiday Turkey to the next level!

Ticket Price: $10 now or $15 at the gate. Print your receipt and bring it with you to the event.

What's Happening:

  • "How to Smoke a Turkey" Class with Bam Bam of Bam Bam's BBQ
  • Bam Bam's Class will begin at noon and run to 1pm.
  • Unlimited Turkey Tastings
  • Contests & Give-aways
  • Recipes
  • Demonstrations will go on all day. Amateur cooks will prepare their favorite turkey recipes on different demo smokers & grills. Try their turkey and vote for your favorite!
  • Our own Sterling Foster will perform LIVE Turkey Deep Frying Demos all day. He will give safety instructions, and answer any of your questions.
  • A lot of the equipment we use that day is available for pre-purchase. Large Big Green Eggs and XL Big Green Eggs demo units are available at a significant discount. These are for local pick-up only.
