Learn hands-on cooking 9 items side-by-side with Harry on gas grills, gas smokers, Weber Kettles, and Weber WSM (R2D2 or Bullet) smokers. BBQ like a Champion and get ready to dazzle your family, friends, and neighbors during summer cookouts
- Find out about the secrets of competition BBQ to apply in your backyard cooking (temperatures, meat placement, foiling, mopping, sprays, schemers, glazes, sauces, etc.)
- Hear Harry's philosophy on smoke, woods, low-n-slow, and spices
- Make your own secret Slap Yo' Daddy BBQ rub from regular pantry ingredients and impress your audience
- Coffee and donuts provided in the morning. Soda and water also provided

Limited number of students as this is a hands-on class with one-on-one guidance
$349 - Includes all meat, rubs, sauces, marinades, souvenir apron, certificate, supplies, Tri-Tip lunch with Food Network audition Seared Ahi appetizer, and drinks. You only bring yourself, your appetite, and small cooler to take extra smoked meat home. Everything else will be provided including class handouts, writing materials, and to-go containers.
By enrolling in the class, the student agrees to hold any and all information presented as a trade secret and will not publish, relay, or otherwise communicate in any form any of said information in any manner for any cause. The use of any video recording device is strictly prohibited except by SYD BBQ. Cameras for shooting still pictures are permitted.
