The Bayou Classic Vertical Smoker (Model 500-746) is the largest and most elaborate of all the Bayou Classic Smoker Grills. Not only does it include the handy firebox, it includes a large smoker pit with side door. This Bayou Smoker Grill’s smoker pit has three stainless steel grates which makes the perfect sized smoking chamber. The smoker pit includes its own thermometer so you can watch the temperature of your chamber without opening. You can either choose to build a fire in the firebox and smoke the entire unit or you can just use the vertical smoker (smoker pit) by building a fire directly in the smoker pit.
The Bayou Smoker Grill (Model 500-746) is constructed from welded 10 gauge steel and is designed for home and patio use. The Model 500-746 has a large cooking surface with a heavy 304 stainless steel cooking grate.
The Bayou Smoker Grill has a stainless temperature gauge, cool touch handles, and wood-look steel shelves. In fact, this model of the Bayou Smoker Grill features a front and lower shelf. The Model 500-746 Smoker Grill also has an ash rake/grate lifter and a side door with damper.
